Creative inspiration / Noel Shiveley

Artists so talented like Noel Shiveley make me want to be better at things I like but haven't tried out as much as I should. He's a 22 Year old letterer / designer and you should  follow his instagram!

I'm not really good at drawing but I keep telling myself I should put more time on calligraphy since I'm good at it, (blame it on current job and not having time for myself), and I've been thinking of buying a graphic tablet and try a lot to get better at it! Oh, and I'm constantly eyeing the classes in Skillshare, especially that one by the super-talented Molly Jacques!

Free calligraphy print!

I was playing around with a new pen, trying to fake nib calligraphy, and this one turned out pretty good so I thought why not scan it?! Since I have a little love for gold-foil letters lately, I made a print out of it and I give you both versions, with color background and transparent to print it however you like! An attempt on calligraphy!

 I've been wanting so bad to learn calligraphy for years! My best friend bought me a starter's kit and I've tried multiple times since then but I don't know if I'm lacking the skill or the right nibs..! Online workshops are a little on the expensive side for me, so I'll just try it on my own!
