Lovely Type | 03 + 04

Opal Pro is one of my favourite script fonts ever! If I could use it in every project - website or document - I would! It somehow reminds me of old books' fonts..! Unfortunately it's not free. But I don't want to leave you without a free font so here's another one!

Elisabeth Semi Script is a cute mix between handwritten and calligraphy style! I didn't even remembered I had it until I scroll down my fonts to find a new one to share with you..! You can get it for free on any fonts website!

I'm not usually fond of Sans Serifs but lately I've been more into minimal styles and Lane is one of the recent downloads that caught my eye straight away! This Lovely Type includes three formats: Regular, Upper Regular and Posh Regular, designed by Apostrophic Labs. Photo by 夏先生 via flickr.

Lovely Type | 01

I've been thinking of having a typefaces column for a while because I find so many lovely fonts I'd love to share with you (especially the free ones)! I know I've already made some font posts but let's take this one as a first!

This week's Lovely Type is the font family AW Conqueror. Usually in a font download, you get one serif/san-serif/etc family with various weights and styles but AW Conqueror includes five styles, Didot Light, Sans Light, Inline Regular, Slab Light and Carved (which I haven't included here because I downloaded it after I made the post!). Totally loved the new line of fonts from Magpie Paperworks! The designer's handwriting is so great and the shop is so full of nice invitations, stationary and more!
