eat me! bread and butter

2 May 2014

I discovered (eat me!) bread & butter, a korean clothing brand, some months ago and I instantly fell in love with everything on their website! Besides the clothing, shoes and accesories, the photography is absolutely perfect! Since then I noticed various blogs featuring this brand so I hope they make worldwide shipping (and prices) possible. (I had contacted them straight away and they said unfortunately it's not possible for now.) Their clothing captures many styles that I love, minimal, smock dresses, girly and vintage-y!

Samantha Pleet Spring 2014

22 March 2014

(complete lookbook here)

This season, Samantha Pleet created a fancy short film for her spring 2014 collection, titled “arcadia” and was inspired by stories from darwin’s journals. It's always inspiring when there's a story behind a designer's work! A lot of tropical (or not) vacation vibes, just to set the mood for summer! The film was directed by Sarah Sophie Flicker and Maximilla Lukas, starring among others Emily Theobald and Hannah Metz, Carlen Altman, narrated by Tennessee Thomas. Check the Fall 2014 film as well, it's even prettier!

Datter Industries

30 January 2014

Datter Industries is a project by illustrator Kaye Blegvad to create subtle, narrative jewellery. I just love the not so clean - handmade look and the mystic/occult/dark vibe, it's just perfect for me.
In Kaye's words: "Datter is my endeavour to turn drawings and ideas into jewellery. I like my work to show signs of being handmade - nothing too clean or too perfect. The process is part of the product. I draw my inspiration from all over the place - ancient artefacts, talismans, ritual, the occult, weaponry, and the natural world."
Wish I could own them all!

The WhitePepper - Les Parisiennes

10 December 2013

As you might have guessed, the whitepepper is one of my favorite brands/shops, I simply love everything they do! And this lookbook is just adorable (even if I feel this style is more like a Londoner instead of a Parisienne)!

House of Maryanne vintage lookbook

4 August 2012

I've been following House of Maryanne in facebook for a while and their new collection - called True Prep - is accompanied by a lovely lookbook mixing preppy and romantic (with a slight hint of school girl). Now I keep picturing being dressed with these beautiful clothes, drinking tea or coffe with my best friend in a beautiful house..! All these pieces and more can be purchased from their facebook page. You can also follow them on Pinterest for more vintage inspiration! { Photographs by Lauren Bamford }
