Hey there! I skipped making a calendar for 1-2 months, and I was really looking forward to a more autumn-y one! The photo is not mine, it's a freebie stock photo from Graphic Burger. Hope you're all doing well, I'm at last done with my internship and planning to fix this blog a little, post more often and be more creative in general! Worn / Between summer and autumn

I finally got some new photos, thanks to my best friend for taking them! I wanted to show off my new dress (link here) which, even though a little transparent, has the perfect smock style and I'm already thinking of using it as a pattern to make another (maybe I shouldn't talk in first person because I don't have a clue on sewing but I hope my friend will be willing enough to work on it with me)! The ring and necklace used to be my grandmother's and the shoes are my mostly worn out Asos brogues.

Hello there! This is Jessica from Feathers of Gold! Now that autumn is nearing, I naturally begin to gravitate towards neutral, soft, muted tones. I am in love with natural textures and prints, like this marble print silk scarf from Scout & Catalogue. Future Desert makes gorgeous prints of their photographic studies of natural minerals; I picked up one of their prints a few weeks ago and cannot stop gazing at it. Most of my shoes can be described using three words: black, leather, or boots, and those cut-out boots by Matiko certainly fit the bill.

Last days of November

Can I call this an outfit post?! I don't know, I've never posted much of my face, let alone make outfit posts..! December is here but these photos are a some days older. The weather got somehow colder, at last, so I put out my gray coat and my warmest sweater!  Oh, and this perfect garden behind me is from a huge abandoned house.. I don't know how it's still so green but it looks beautiful!  (And I really thought of climbing in for a moment but no.)
